addition to the regular Dalton Pen awards, Dalton Pen 2005 is honoring
extraordinary leaders in the communications industry who have made an
impact on their community in their field with special achievement awards
known as the IMPACTING OUR WORLD awards. These venerable individuals
are chosen solely based on your nominations.

Pen's IMPACTING OUR WORLD awards distinguish and salute the industry's
most revered and respected professionals in six categories.
The
Categories:
BROADCASTING
Nominees may be known for communicating in front
of or behind the camera, in creative management or in production services.
ART
& ENTERTAINMENT
Nominees
may be known for communicating as an actor, producer, writer, director,
celebrity or in a position related to the entertainment field.
MAGAZINES
Nominees may be known for communicating in publishing,
editing, writing or reporting.
JOURNALISM/NEWSPAPERS
Nominees may be known for communicating in publishing,
editing, writing or reporting.
CORPORATE
Nominees may be known for corporate executive
leadership in any industry (i.e., high-tech, entertainment, finance,
medical, etc.) — a corporate leader who enacts cultural or business
change under his/her creative direction.
MUSIC
Nominees may be known for communicating through
music as a song writer, performer, producer or promoter.
