Patricia Roche

A former journalist and award winning writer/editor, Patricia A. Roche has performed several communications and advertising roles in her career. At Hewlett-Packard, as Senior Manager of Worldwide Media Relations in charge of worldwide media relations for HP's Worldwide Business Customer Organization, she successfully positioned HP as a leader in Utility Computing space. She has also directed marketing communications for a publicly traded software corporation, worked for top New York City-based public relations agencies, positioned a growing start-up technology company as a leader in its category, and operated her own consulting firm on the East and West Coasts.

Ms. Roche managed accounts at Doremus Portner Novelli/Richard Weiner PR, New York, New York, and at The Softness Group, where she was the point person for Fruit of the Loom, Inc., and Miss America Pageant sponsorship activities, and the Supervisor of the consumer group PR team with accounts including Arm & Hammer Baking Soda; Rit Dye; Cookin' Good Chicken.

In her current position, Ms. Roche is responsible for development and initial implementation of long- and short-term communications strategies and plans; corporate and product messaging and branding; set up of internal PR/Corporate Communications functions; development and implementation of company launch/product strategies for start up ventures.

Her background also includes managing media relations, crisis management, event PR coordination, strategic planning, media tours, collateral materials, etc. for other Silicon Valley companies.
