Sara O'Brien

Television and Radio Journalist

Sara O'Brien hosts live interviews on KGO-AM, KCBS, KRON, tapes interviews on KNTV and is an informed reporting contributor for The San Francisco Chronicle, San Jose Mercury and The San Mateo County Times. Having served as an on-air and off-air reporter/producer for two weekly public television series, "Computer Chronicles" and "Net Café," she also worked inside two public TV/radio facilities, KCSM and WITF and was actively involved in video production management.

Ms. O'Brien produced an award winning short series of 90-second radio segments called "CyberTraffic" for syndication and served as a producer on a one hour online audio series called "About Radio" on About.com.

Ms. O'Brien is also a Public Relations Consultant conducting PR campaigns for both non-profit and for-profit organizations and has developed national media launch plans and interviews on television, radio, newspapers and magazines for high-tech products and companies. Clients include Maxtor, Wilson McHenry Company, the Computer Chronicles and Net Café public television series.

Acting locally as a spokesperson for the American Red Cross/San Mateo County Public Affairs division, Ms. O'Brien regularly provides information to all Bay Area media on emergency responses by the Red Cross.
