Acteva, Director of Engineering

Ms. Kolodziej brings a wealth of experience to the judging panel from her 25 years in engineering and marketing roles at Silicon Valley companies in both technical and academic environments. Ms. Kolodziej recently made a move to the role of Director of Engineering for Acteva, the marketing-based company that provides its customers the ability to offer online registration from the user's web site for activities.

Before her recent move, Ms. Kolodziej held the position of Senior Manager with Looksmart, the San Francisco-based provider of Internet search solutions which provides users with highly relevant search results.

Positions prior to Looksmart include the Web Systems Manager for Oracle Corporation. Functioning as webmaster and System Projects Manager in the Online Programs group, Ms. Kolodziej was responsible for administration, performance, capacity planning, maintenance, and the system environments of three major Oracle external websites: alliance.oracle.com, solutions and platforms.

While at Stanford University, Ms. Kolodziej was the Manager of Database Systems Administrator - ITSS. She was responsible for multiple Sybase and Oracle servers in the ITSS Data Center. Database applications were financial, student information, WEB databases, university data warehouse and DSS.
