With over 25 years in public relations and communications, Heidi Groshelle’s experience extends into many industries, from arts and entertainment to emerging high technology.

Most recently, Heidi was a senior account manager with Trainer Communications where she was responsible for positioning clients for success and generating coverage in top-tier outlets including CNN,
CNet, BusinessWeek, Forrester Research, Gartner Group, The Wall Street Journal and numerous trade publications. In 1997, Heidi introduced the first plasma flat-screen televisions in the U.S., working closely with Fujitsu, Hammacher Schlemmer, and Starbucks.

Heidi began her career publicizing arts and entertainment professionals in Los Angeles at California Institute of the Arts. Soon thereafter, she moved into film and video promotion and production as an integral part of the marketing team for One Pass Film & Video, a leading San Francisco production company. Later Heidi co-founded and was executive VP of a San Francisco-based television commercial production company, G9 Productions, the producers of Emmy Award winning commercials, trailers, and product roll-out features. She has also worked closely with Landis Communications to build brand awareness and market share for consumer-focused products and organizations.

Heidi currently serves on the board of the Sacramento Association of IPv6 Adopters, an organization focused on improving the quality and utility of the Internet. As a San Francisco native, Heidi believes in giving back to the community. She has served on the board of directors of Compass Community Services (formerly Travelers' Aid) a social service agency that provides counseling, housing, and rehabilitation services to families below the poverty level. She has also established a volunteer program to feed homeless families in San Francisco, which is now in its 13th year of operations.

Heidi's passions also include creating raku (a Japanese technique of ceramic firing) and high-fired pieces of art. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
